Fees & rewards

Fees

User-facing fee schedule: Classic V3 1% pool fee (70/30 LP), Tax V4 1% LP fee plus create-time buy/sell tax, aggregator 0.25%, gas in ETH separate.

At a glance

Classic V3 1% pool fee (70/30); Tax V4 1% LP fee plus separate create-time buy/sell tax; aggregator 0.25%; referral 5% LP + 0.05% swaps. Gas always separate.

Quick tip

On Tax V4, LP fee ≠ buy/sell tax. Trust the live quote panel.

Peeps aims to keep fees understandable at the moment you trade or create. This page summarizes Classic V3 (1% pool fee), Tax V4 (1% LP fee plus your configured buy/sell tax — two different lines), aggregator swaps (0.25%), and network gas. Classic V3 and Tax V4 are both bonding-curve style products. The swap and create UIs remain the best place to confirm what applies right now.

Fees are not the same thing as price impact. A quote can move because the market moved, even when the fee schedule is unchanged. Always read the estimated receive amount before you sign.

Classic V3 uses a 1% pool fee, with 70% of LP fees to the creator and 30% to the protocol. Tax V4 also uses a 1% LP fee with the same 70/30 LP share idea — and separately charges the buy/sell tax you set at create (1–10%). That tax is not a substitute for the LP fee.

Gas is always Robinhood ETH on Robinhood Chain and always separate. If you only have ETH on Ethereum, open Resources → Bridge (LiFi Ethereum → Robinhood Chain), wait for arrival, switch network, then trade, create, or claim.

Classic V3 pool fee

Classic V3 launches use a 1% pool trading fee on eligible swaps. Of the LP fees collected, 70% goes to the creator and 30% to the protocol. That path continues after graduation into the locked Uniswap V3 pool — still 1%, not a different “secret” fee.

Pool trading fee1%Eligible Classic V3 swaps

Creators may also enable an optional short anti-snipe period at launch to reduce bot advantage in the opening moments. Anti-snipe is a launch setting, not an extra forever fee line item.

Aggregator swaps

A 0.25% Peeps aggregator fee may apply when you swap supported tokens (Peeps and other venues such as Bow, Pons, and Flap) through the Peeps interface. A portion of aggregator revenue may support $PEEPS ecosystem initiatives such as buybacks — without guaranteeing any token performance.

After curve graduation

Once a Classic V3 launch graduates to Uniswap V3, a 1.00% V3 pool trading fee applies — the same 1% path as during the climb, still split 70% creator / 30% protocol of LP fees. Liquidity is deployed into a locked, full-range style position subject to the launch configuration. Locked liquidity means the ordinary Peeps Classic V3 design does not leave liquidity casually removable — it is still not a promise about price.

Referral rewards (separate from creator LP)

Invite rewards are not the creator 70/30 LP split. Under the standard invite plan you earn 5% of eligible Instant-style pool LP fees from attributed launches (claim as WETH) plus 0.05% of Peeps-routed swap volume (claim as ETH). Attribution, claim steps, and history live on Referrals — not in the creator Claim fees modal.

Tax launches (V4)

Tax V4 always has two trading-related lines: (1) a 1% LP / pool fee with 70% creator / 30% protocol of LP fees, and (2) the buy/sell tax you configure at create (1–10%), which follows your treasury / burn / dividend / liquidity splits. Those are different pots. Dividend eligibility uses the product-fixed minimum (~10k) when dividends are used — not a creator form field. Holders claim Tax dividends on the token page; creators claim LP fees and tax paths from Fees & dividends. Creators should document both lines clearly; traders should read the token page and quote before confirming.

Network gas

Robinhood Chain gas is paid in Robinhood ETH and is always separate from Peeps platform fees. Insufficient Robinhood ETH is one of the most common reasons a swap or claim fails even when the quote looks fine. If you only have ETH on Ethereum mainnet, open Resources → Bridge (LiFi Ethereum → Robinhood Chain), wait for arrival, switch to Robinhood Chain, then retry.

Read fees before you publish

Create flows surface relevant fee and tax terms before you sign. Classic V3 uses a 1% pool fee; Tax V4 uses a 1% LP fee plus your configured buy/sell tax; aggregator swaps may add 0.25%. Network gas in Robinhood ETH is always separate — the live quote panel beats memory of any docs page.

  • Fees ≠ price impact
  • On Tax V4, LP fee and buy/sell tax are two lines
  • Ethereum ETH must be bridged before create gas works
